Seven years ago, Jack Lowe embarked on an ambitious project to photograph all 238 lifeboat stations in the UK and Ireland. Making the photographs on glass, using a traditional Victorian process known as Wet Plate Collodion – with a decommissioned ambulance called Neena as a mobile darkroom – Jack is creating a unique archive.
Join us at the Riverside Gallery, Haverfordwest, or over Zoom as he talks about his ongoing life’s work – The Lifeboat Station Project – and more.
A joint event with the Riverside Gallery, Haverfordwest, where two of Jack Lowe’s photographs are currently exhibited.
