The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority in partnership with PLANED are pleased to confirm that the Archaeology Day will return on 20 November 2021. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event will be delivered virtually.

The event will be presented by the National Park’s Community Archaeologist, Tomos Jones and PLANED’s Cultural Coordinator, Stuart Berry. They will be joined by speakers presenting on projects and excavations from Pembrokeshire. This will include an update on the Chariot Burial project, excavations at Caerfai, St Patrick’s Chapel and Haverfordwest Priory, megaliths of Pembrokeshire, Castell Henllys and Nevern Castle. There will also be an opportunity to hear about community heritage projects in Pembroke, Llangwm and the Preseli.

Full programme and joining instructions will be sent to the participants a few days before the event.
