Join us for our season of Summer Concerts in the breathtaking setting of St Davids Cathedral. Concerts take place on Wednesday evenings and include organ and song performances, culminating in a Choral Concert by St Davids Cathedral Choir on 15th September.
Performers include Meirion Wynn Jones (concert on 1st September). Having held organist posts at Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral, the Birmingham Oratory and Brecon Cathedral, Meirion now pursues a freelance career as a composer, accompanist and teacher. We’re also delighted to welcome organists Emma Gibbons (Newport Cathedral) on 4th August and Stephen Moore (Llandaff Cathedral) on 11th August. Lawrence Pethick, Choral Scholar at St Davids Cathedral, will perform a song recital on 18th August and Simon Pearce, Asst Director of Music at St Davids Cathedral, will provide an evening of organ music on 25th August. Baritone Stephen Richardson, accompanied by Simon Pearce, gives a song recital on 8th September. All performances start at 7.30pm and last for about 50 minutes.
Tickets are £7, cash only, on the door (children under 16 have free entry).
