Julie Christine Gannon
Profile
Julie draws her inspiration from the beautiful sea and landscapes of Pembrokeshire.
She explains that “Pembrokeshire is a beautiful place of sunlit sea, sandy beaches and friendly people. My paintings are my emotional response to all of the beauty and warmth of Pembrokeshire.”
Julie’s paintings range from minimalist works, in which entire landscapes are captured with a few carefully considered brush strokes, to maximalist paintings where thousands of brushstrokes and multiple layers of paint are used to re-create landscapes.
Julie describes herself as an “elemental expressionist” and explains that “I paint the way that Pembrokeshire makes me feel”.
